The TV Academy, chaired by María Casado, will have five vice presidencies

The board of directors of the Academy of Television Sciences and Artsn has appointed at its last meeting the five vice presidents that will accompany Maria Casado in his work at the head of the Academy.

Fernando Navarrete, Francisco Moreno, Pepe Quílez, Beatriz Maesso y Pedro Olloqui They have been the professionals chosen to be part of the Executive Commission of the institution for the next four years.

The new president will also be accompanied by multidisciplinary professionals such as María José Peláez, Rafael Galán, Joana Carrión, Juan Ramón Gonzalo, Valentín Carrera, Macarena Rey, Jesús Lozano, Pilar Socorro, Jacinto García Alonso, Pepa Sánchez Biezma, Tacho de la Calle, Pilar Vergara, Carlos Castel, Alexa Portillo, Rosa Díez Urrestarazu, Jota Abril, Tomás Molina and José David Suero.

Initiatives in the new stage

Among the objectives of the Board of Directors in this new stage of innovative and transformative will are the opening of the Academy to all professionals, sjoin new content platforms and create the Television Museum.

In this sense, in the coming months the Board of Directors will call all academics to an Assembly that will become the loudspeaker for the demands of the entity's members.

Since last December, María Casado has been the first woman to preside over the Television Academy. His election is the result of the electoral process called on September 9, where his team obtained the majority support of academics with 51% of the votes and a participation of 46% of the census.
