The Film Academy rules out the inclusion of the series in the Goya Awards
The institution unanimously decides to maintain the current system regarding productions that may aspire to the Goya Awards, thus ruling out the inclusion of television productions.
The Board of Directors of the Film Academy, meeting this Monday, has unanimously decided to maintain the current system regarding productions that may aspire to the Goya Awards, thus ruling out the inclusion of television productions.
Regarding the films produced by the platforms, the Film Academy will consider for its annual awards those that meet the current requirements, that is, release in theaters within the deadlines established by the rules.
However, the Film Academy encourages all interested agents (channels, platforms, production companies...) to join forces in order to enhance the existing annual awards or recognitions.
To this end, the Presidency of the Film Academy will soon meet with the Television Academy to transmit a collaboration proposal.
