The Film Academy announces the short films shortlisted for the Goya in the categories of animation, documentary and fiction
A committee, made up of members of the institution's Board of Directors and the winners of the last five editions in the three categories, has selected the titles that will compete for the first Goya award.
A total of 35 short films have been selected to compete in the 34th edition of the Goya Awards, in the categories of Best Animated, Documentary and Fiction Short Film.
A committee, made up of members of the institution's Board of Directors and the winners of the last five editions in the three categories, has selected 10 titles in the documentary section, 15 in the fiction category and 10 in animation. These short films will be able to be voted on in the coming weeks by all the academics to decide which ones will finally be eligible for the Goya Awards, which will be held on January 25, 2020 in Malaga.
