France 3 emplea Quicklink Studio para un multicámara en FB Live del concierto de Bigflo & Oli
To capture the event, Quicklink Studio used three signals from the iPhone 8, which provided the ability to choose different angles and make the event live.
France 3, one of the largest French public television channels that is part of the France Télévisions group, has recently used the solution Quicklink Studio for a multi-camera on Facebook Live concierto de Bigflo & Oli. El concierto tuvo lugar en Toulouse, la ciudad donde Bigflo & Oli creció, y acogió a más de 60.000 espectadores durante dos días.
To capture the event, Quicklink Studio relied on three signals coming from iPhone 8 which provided the ability to choose different angles and energize the live event. In the studio, France 3 used two Quicklink ST100s for broadcasting on Facebook Live.
Lower latency and bandwidth
Yvan Kalfon, IT Director at France Télévisions, highlights that "the Quicklink Studio solution was very easily integrated into our workflow with a simple SMS to each mobile device. We found that the Studio solution used four times less bandwidth and reduced latency than an Aviwest encoder."
The first iPhone, which was mounted on a computer Beastgrip, offered a wide-angle frame of the interviewer. The second iPhone was used to provide a close-up of the presenter's face. The third iPhone was assembled on a computer Osmo Mobile of DJI who followed the interviewer and presenter during the concert.
The Quicklink Studio is a two-way audio/video solution that allows ultra-low lag contributions from any device desktop or mobile using only a web browser. Contributors can be invited via SMS or email and can easily and remotely send content to the studio.
France Television is currently testing Quicklink Studio for more than 50 national and regional channels across France.
