Creative Technology uses the Quicklink ST500 solution at events

This Quicklink “studio in a box” is a compact, portable unit with built-in camera and lighting, allowing you to manage and control broadcast events quickly, easily and efficiently from anywhere.

Creative Technology (NEP Group) is using the solution Quicklink ST500 (Studio-in-a-box) to make multiple professional contributions in virtual events for your clients.

In the last year we have seen more and more live events move online to keep the public, collaborators and team safe.

Creative Technology has used the solution ST500 of Quicklink to offer high-quality virtual events to your customers, including consistent, low-latency video and audio streams from numerous remote collaborators in multiple locations.

Among the most recent events the company has held with this technology is a virtual event for an international company Blue-Chip, in which three simultaneous 90-minute live virtual shows were held, twice over the course of one day, in six different languages. Creative Technology also pre-recorded videos with multiple collaborators, which were streamed at two online events. Quicklink secure guest URLs were used to link remote presenters to event control rooms, providing high-quality content.

Steve Purkess, director of sports and broadcast at Creative Technology, highlights that "with the COVID-19 lockdown, we are connecting people inside their homes and the quality of those solutions is variable. We rely on people's own electronic devices, such as their laptops, cameras, lighting and their own soft microphone. This is a system that is sent to people's homes to replace that and absolutely elevates the quality of that contribution capture."

"All people have to do at home is plug the microphone into the box, set it to their local Wi-Fi and they're ready to go. All of these elements can be controlled from our production center here at Creative Technology," he adds.

The Quicklink Studio-in-a-box (ST500) is a compact, portable unit with built-in camera and lighting, allowing Creative Technology to manage and control broadcast events quickly, easily and efficiently from anywhere. The camera, lights and audio can be control from any Chrome browser through the Quicklink Manager portal to guarantee the highest quality of broadcast content. The central operator completely manages the broadcast and can choose either file recording as HD-SDI or live output to the air.
