Televisions will present their advances in augmented and virtual reality at the Malaga Observatory

What new technologies has television in Spain used this year? Which ones have worked? What does television expect from new technologies? These and other questions will be answered at the New Technologies Observatory, which will take place on July 17 and 18 at the Digital Content Center in Malaga.

Victor Sanchez, from TVE's Operations Directorate, highlights that "all technologies are converging. And we are trying to stay ahead. The objective is to transfer our experiences and our way of producing to the market."

Sánchez will explain to those attending the Malaga Observatory the bets that Spanish Television has made in recent months, especially in information, electoral and meteorological programs.

For its part, Marc Sansa, director of newsletters and Iban José, responsible for Infographics at TV3 They will be in charge of showing attendees the latest virtual news from Catalan television, which is the audience leader among all the regional television stations in Spain grouped in FORTA.

The Catalan public television TV3 inaugurated its new virtual augmented reality set, and will go to Malaga to show the latest news that it aired last election night on April 28.

For more than 15 years, Televisió de Catalunya has used virtual and augmented reality in its specials on election nights. In addition, many of its programs are also broadcast from virtual sets.

The Malaga Observatory, which is now celebrating its third edition organized by Medina Media with Panortama Audiovisual as media partner, has become the main multidisciplinary meeting in Spain on New Technologies. In addition to virtual, augmented or mixed reality, the paper will address eSports, video games or artificial intelligence.
