With Titan Playout, Ateme offers content providers, broadcasters and television channels a new generation of playout solutions, offering a high level of rendering, flexibility and availability.
Atem enters the business of dynamic channel creation, enabling virtual programming and personalized television with the extension of its Titan solution. Titan Playout will endure Versatile Playout, dynamic channel creation and automatic programming.
With Titan Playout, Ateme offers content providers, broadcasters and television channels a new generation of playout solutions, offering a high level of rendering, flexibility and availability. This new solution is the ideal response to the growing demand for tailored video content: it allows both the creation of 24/7 linear TV channels and the easy creation of pop-up channels for short-term events or personalized programming in D2C/OTT services.
Based on the core modules of encoding/muxing/packaging From Titan, the new proposal includes a versatile system, which provides a rich set of functions to create and manipulate channels in a very flexible way. Titan Playout allows each channel to originate and choose precisely the operations it needs, such as file playback, live playback, graphic overlays and A/V processing.
Furthermore, the Ateme solution comes with a complete Media Asset Manager, designed to leverage video asset libraries for linear or on-demand delivery workflows. It also features a smart offline schedule editing feature, designed to efficiently prepare channel playlists and generate virtual programming schedules. Finally, thanks to its native virtualized microservices architecture, Tintan Playout can be deployed both on-premises and in the cloud, reducing CAPEX and OPEX while ensuring smooth operation.
Pierre Baumgartner, director of archive and workflow solutions at Ateme, has been delighted to "offer a unified and integrated solution capable of not only originating but also distributing personalized channels through broadcast or OTT networks. This function guarantees full interoperability between broadcast and compression systems and, consequently, optimizes the daily operation process, throughout the entire video delivery chain."
Ateme will demonstrate the possibilities of Ateme Playout in IBC 2019 at stand 1.D71 from September 13 to 17 at the RAI from Amsterdam.
