Gigabyte Aero laptops with Pantone X-Rite certification for accurate color calibration

Through unit-by-unit calibration and X-Rite Pantone certification, Gigabyte has successfully designed a laptop equipped with a completely reliable display.

There are many characteristics on the laptop screen that may interest users: size, resolution, refresh rate or color range, among others. But for content creators, there's nothing more important than color accuracy—it can hurt you if you design on a screen that displays inaccurate colors. In fact, in most cases, the user cannot start his work without calibrating the screen.

Therefore, Gigabyte has studied more than 100 components in uncalibrated laptop screens and found that the Delta variationE, the most widely accepted rating (the lower the better) for on-screen color accuracy is huge. There are some raw displays with an acceptable Delta-E ratio—around 2~3—but there are up to 10% of displays that suffer from poor accuracy: they offer a Delta-E ratio of more than 15.

Gigabyte knows the importance of having good screen precision and, therefore, has worked exclusively with Pantone X-Rite, the famous one-stop color management, support and production solution since 2017. To make your displays completely accurate, X-Rite Pantone has designed an exclusive accessory (calibrator) for screen calibration on the laptop series Gigabyte Aero, in addition to calibrating each Aero panel before sending it to the factory.

In this way, Gigabyte guarantees the lowest Delta-E ratio, which is less than 1, in all its Aero laptops. Once content creators open their Aero laptop, they can start working immediately without having to first calibrate its display – it's completely accurate and therefore reliable.

Creators need accurate display, a statement that seems to be shared by more laptop brands, which is why there are numerous certifications for displays that attest to this feature. However, not everyone has Gigabyte's experience.
