IABM seeks vice president

The current vice president of the International Trade Association for the Broadcast & Media Industry (IABM), Graham Pitman, will leave his position next August, after having served the Association for the last nine years.
Therefore, IABM is looking for a new vice president. Reporting to the IABM Board of Members, this non-executive role is key to the governance and oversight of the Association, ensuring transparency and integrity in all activities, providing experienced advice and inspiring best practice and excellence in its processes and activities.
Founded in 1976, the IABM has in recent years become a truly international representative body, with more than 600 member companies around the world benefiting from its knowledge, support and leadership. The association operates day to day under the auspices of a full-time team who are guided by their board of elected members.
The vice president You will work for the IABM two days per calendar month. In addition to ensuring good governance and transparency, his role also involves ensuring effective business and financial processes, remuneration committee duties, staff welfare and chairing the IABM Supervisory Group.
ABM is looking for candidates with management experience, either in the broadcast and media industry or in organizations of similar complexity and type to the IABM, for example, charities, professional associations, commercial companies or a similar not-for-profit organization where there is a high level of accountability to external stakeholders.
