Mediapro begins operating the new Belgian football channel

Eleven Sports and Mediapro collaborate on the launch, the production of the matches and the international sale of the audiovisual rights of Belgian football.

Mediapro has produced the first seven games of the new channel Eleven JPL, which began broadcasting, in French and Dutch, over the weekend.

It started last Saturday with the first three matches of the First Division League: the inaugural Bruges – Sporting de Charleroi, which had more than 20 cameras and 2 studios, the Royal Antwerp – Royal Excel Mouscron and the Standard de Liege – Cercle Brugges; followed by the four held on Sunday (Sint-Truidense VV – KAA Gent, SV Zulte Waregem – KRC Genk, Mechelen – Anderlecht and KV Kortrijk – Waasland-Beveren). In addition to the production of matches, Mediapro is responsible for the international sale of Belgian football audiovisual rights.

Mediapro collaborates with Eleven on the three new First Division channels, with the distribution of avant-garde production of the different competitions: First Division, First B, First Division Women and the E-Pro League for Belgian and First Division fans worldwide.

The Catalan audiovisual group, as in all the territories in which it works, operates from Belgium and has local professionals for its teams.
