Warner Bros. will release all its films simultaneously in theaters and HBO Max in 2021

The films will be available on the platform in the United States for one month from the same day they are released in theaters.

Warner Bros has announced that all its releases in 2021 in the United States (Godzilla vs. Kong, Matrix 4, Dune…) can be enjoyed at the same time in movie theaters and on the platform HBO Max. The films will be available on HBO Max for one month from the same day they are released in theaters

Ann Sarnoff, CEO of Warner Bros, recognizes that “we live in unprecedented times, which require creativity to find solutions.”

"No one wants movies to return to the big screen more than us. We know that new content is vital to the exhibition sector, but we have to balance this with the reality that the majority of theaters in the United States will likely operate with reduced capacity during 2021," he added.
