Blackfish Studio, a new virtual set in the heart of Barcelona equipped with the latest Panasonic technology
In the heart of Barcelona, 5 minutes from Sants station and with all the necessary equipment. 16 new Audiovisual Services available to its clients, has been born Blackfish Studio. Its facilities are equipped with all the services for production with virtual spaces for advertising, television or corporate purposes.
The technology of Panasonic with robotic cameras PTZ AW-UE150, play a key role in tracking images, helping to create virtual infinite spaces on a chroma of just 6×4 meters.
The idea of this new study that comes from the founding team of 16 of us (Elizabeth Pueyo y Jaume Obiols) and the company specialized in servers Blackfish is conceived as a boutique space in which users will find everything necessary for their production: from a completely soundproof studio (soundproofed with PKB2 on walls, floor and ceiling) with a carefully illuminated chroma, to meeting rooms, office, makeup, dressing room and even terrace.
From a control room it is possible to monitor or carry out what happens on the set or perform remotely the event if necessary. Although the control is equipped with the latest technology with the AV-HS6000 mixers in the heart of the facility. This mixer has 2 ME, 32 SDI and two DVI inputs and 16 SDI outputs, with a wide variety of keyers and DVEs.
Versatility in equipment
It is worth noting that one of the advantages of Blackfish Studio is that the user will not only have access to the studio equipment pack, but will also have at their disposal the extensive rental catalog available from 16nou, whose warehouse is located in the same building. In this way, you gain great versatility, savings in costs and travel.
For productions of live streaming, Blackfish Studio has two symmetrical 1Gbps fibers from different operators, thus guaranteeing total redundancy in sending to the CDN chosen by the client.
All signals coming from the set are managed in the control thanks to a matrix AJA Kumo Router 64×64, while the intercom between the different spaces is facilitated by a matrix Trilogy with 96 ports.
Uno de los primeros trabajos realizados en el estudio recientemente ha sido la presentación virtual de la nueva gama de productos de Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions Europe.
Jaume Obiols, co-founder of Blackfish, and Jordi Clotet y Olga Sanromà, from Panasonic, share in a video interview their vision of this project and the results obtained in this first virtual experience.
