Cellnex broadcasts in UHD with a Bbright system provided by Sapec

The playout server for Multi-TS compressed video from Bright, marketed by Sapec, is used by Cellnex to broadcast its two UHD channels available via DTT.

Since the beginning of the year, Cellnex is broadcasting two channels in UHD (one HDR and the other SDR) from the association UHD Spain using playout server Multi-TS from the French company Bright, represented in Spain by Sapec.

Multi TS It is a 1 RU team capable of performing the playout of up to 50 channels simultaneously. It has a ladder manager to schedule the broadcast of content in TS format with MPEG-2/H.264 compressions y HEVC with resolutions from SD up to 8K. Furthermore, it allows the content to be broadcast to be store internally on the server or externally on a NAS, playing in any case with “seamless” transitions between the broadcast content.
