Atomos begins a new stage focused on the cloud with Cloud Studio and the Connect range
The solution atoms Cloud Studio, together with the new products in the Connect range, including Zato Connect, Atomos Connect for Ninja V and V+ and Shogun Connect, will mark the present and future of the Australian firm.
Atomos Cloud Studio is a collection of new video production services based on cloud. With support for Shogun Connect, Atomos Connect for Ninja V/V+, and Zato Connect, the brand plans that anyone with a compatible camera or device can use these tools to share video assets and collaborate remotely in real time.
The first major service of Atomos Cloud Studio is Atomos Stream, an “all-in-one” solution that allows any Atomos network-enabled device to offer a live stream. Initially, the service will only be able to provide service to a single platform, either Facebook Live, Twitch o YouTube. However, at the end of the year, Atomos plans to launch a premium service to be able to offer content delivery to multiple platforms simultaneously.

Atomos Cloud Studio users will be able to produce content in real time working with different camera systems without worrying about timecode synchronization, which Atomos Cloud Studio will take care of. Using an ultra-low latency protocol, each Live Production stream can be controlled in real time from a browser, a iPad app o any compatible control panel from anywhere in the world.

The new Zato Connect It is intended to act as a compact and easy-to-use entry door to Atomos Cloud Studio. Through a software update coming later this year, Atomos will introduce the NDI|HX decoding (to receive the signal from the NDI source for viewing and recording). This will allow customers share image between multiple devices locally and select a specific device (or devices) to burn NDI encoded file.
