FORTA televisions helped promote 306 films, series and short films in 2022
The support of the regional public radio and television stations that make up FORCE to the audiovisual sector materialized in 306 audiovisual works throughout 2022.
Specifically, FORTA has supported 99 feature films fiction, 86 feature-length documentary films, 52 documentaries for television, 23 short films, 20 series, 13 documentary series, 6 animated series, 3 TV movies, 2 miniseries and 2 animated feature films.
Of the total productions that FORTA has supported during the past year, 23 of them they have received 68 nominations in a wide variety of categories in the 37th edition of the Goya Awards from the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Spain, which are delivered on Saturday, February 11. It is worth highlighting the feature film five little wolves, participated by EITB, which has received 11 nominations, including 'Best Film'. Also, nominated for the same category and with a total of 10 nominations, is Alcarras, owned by CCMA. They complete the list of the most nominated The crooked lines of God, also participated by CCMA and with 6 nominations; On the margins, with 5 nominations and participated by Telemadrid; and Irati (EITB), also nominated in 5 categories.
He list of productions nominated for the Goya 2023 is completed with Manticore (CCMA), with 4 nominations; The maternal (CCMA and Aragón TV), with 3 nominations; One year, one night (CCMA), with 3 nominations; The mercy (CSRTV), also with 3 nominations; The water (À Punt), with 2 nominations; Suro (CCMA and EITB), with 2 nominations; Unicorn Wars (TVG and EITB), with 2 nominations; and The Rite of Spring (CSRTV and EITB), with 2 nominations as well. Productions with a nomination have been Wild Sunflowers (CCMA), Black is black 2 (EITB), The mud demons (TVG), To the women of Spain, María Alejarraga (CSRTV), The yellow roof (CCMA), Labordeta, a man without more (Aragon TV), Oswald, the forger (CCMA), official competition (CCMA), Chipen life (CSRTV) and ropes (EITB).
Carmen Amores, president of FORCE, highlights the more than 300 productions promoted by the television networks that make up the federation: "Our objective is to promote cinema and support the audiovisual industry in all territories, through quality content and acting as a public and accessible service for society as a whole. Proof of this are the more than 300 productions in which public radio and television organizations have participated and which highlight our vocation to promote national culture."
