Telecinco Cinema, Mono Pictures y Sony Pictures They produce 'I Hate Summer', the new comedy by Fer García-Ruiz ('Descarrilados') whose script is signed by David Marqués ('Campeones').

In the plot, three families, from different origins and social classes, reserve, without being aware of the mistake, the same house to spend their vacations, turning the summer into a comical exercise in tolerance. No one is willing to give it up, and there are not many alternatives, so they are forced to share a cabin all summer. The obvious differences between each of its members turn those days into a chaotic accumulation of fun and crazy situations. Despite this, they have to learn to live together.

This is the starting point of I hate summer, whose production is in charge Ghislain Barrois y Alvaro Augustin (by Telecinco Cinema) and Miguel Menendez de Zubillaga (Mono Pictures AIE).

Filming, which has just started and will take place over seven weeks in different locations in Tenerife and Madrid, stars Julián López, Kira Miró, Jordi Sánchez, María Botto, Roberto Álamo, Malena Alterio and Mariano Venancio. The cast is completed by Yohana Yara, the young people Javier Lera and Aitziber Errazkin and the child actors Scarlett Arce, Lucas Ruíz and Diego Ruiz.

The film will be distributed in Spain by Sony Pictures Entertainment Iberia.
