Dante AV llega a los chipset AV-over-IP de Aspeed con Dante AV-A
Audinate has developed a new version of Dante AV called Dante AV-A, which has been optimized to run on the AST1530/1535 SoC (System on Chip). Aspeed.
Whether for processes of multi-input or of multisalida with high-definition content delivery, the SoCs of Aspeed They are widely used by leading manufacturers in the Pro-AV industry. Specifically, the SoC AST1530/1535 is responsible for managing new generation AV-over-IP processes. Now, with the arrival of Dante AV-A, Audinate opens the doors to this chipset and other future developments in the most pro-AV aspect of the world of audio and video over IP. Specifically, nine manufacturers have already licensed Dante AV-A: AMX by Harman, Aurora Multimedia, AVPro Global, Cypress, GoMax, HDCVT, ProAVIT, SY Electronics y WyreStorm.
Through Dante AV-A, users working with the Aspeed SoC will be able to manage high quality video with a resolution of up to 4Kp60 4:4:4 and 2 channels of Dante audio Instantly compatible with Dante audio products, simplifying the design of distributed AV systems. These independently routable audio and video streams allow audio to be distributed to installed DSPs, amplifiers or speakers with a single click. Each of these processes can be streamlined through software Dante Controller, which manages all audio and video device routing; in parallel, Dante Domain Manager provides IT-level management, including continuous system monitoring, audit logs, and user access control.
Chris Lin, president of Aspeed, values its alliance with Audinate as follows: "Our goal is to continue adding value to our manufacturing partners and their customers, and Dante AV is an increasingly requested feature. This partnership allows us to pre-qualify Dante as part of the AST1530/1535 SoC and make it available to Aspeed customers through our SDK, making it as easy as possible for OEMs and ODMs to add Dante AV to their products."
On the other hand, Aidan Williams, CEO of Audinate, adds: "As one of the most widely used SoCs in the AV-over-IP market, ASPEED is an important strategic partner for Audinate. This partnership and the introduction of Dante AV-A is an important addition to the Dante AV family, making it easier for manufacturers to integrate Dante AV and offering customers the largest selection of hardware products that are all interoperable through Dante control and management software."
