Hispasat AEDAE Hogan Lovells signs course agreement

The first edition of the introductory course on telecommunications law will become a reality starting January 19, 2024 thanks to an agreement signed by Hispasat, AEDAE y Hogan Lovells.

This initiative will offer specialized training in telecommunications, with special focus on its current regulation and the changes that are taking place in the sector. In fact, for the first time in Spain, a specific module on space law y satellite communications Taught by Hispasat professionals.

The objective of the course is for students to acquire a knowledge base that enhances their opportunities in the professional field in a sector that is closely linked to technological innovation. For this reason, it is made up of expert professionals in the subjects taught, with solid experience in the sector and active in the professional sector of their respective teaching fields, such as Julián Seseña (consultant), Gerry Oberst (Hogan Lovells), Charles Mathias (Hogan Lovells), María Merino (Orange ), Alberto Moreno (Telefónica), Domingo Pimienta (Hispasat), Esther Riobó (Hispasat) or Víctor Barrio (Hogan Lovells).

This specialized training adds to the firm's experience in international law. Hogan Lovells, with the rigor of the Spanish Association of Aeronautical and Space Law (AEDAE) and knowledge of the satellite sector and its regulation of the communications satellite operator Hispasat.

The course, which can be carried out online or hybrid (with classes at the Hogan Lovells offices in Madrid) will begin on January 19, 2024 and will end on February 16, 2024 with 36 hours of training. Students will receive a certificate issued by Hogan Lovells, Hispasat and the Spanish Association of Aeronautical and Special Law.
