Hispasat's Lurín teleport obtains Tier 4 certification from the WTA
The WTA, the world association of teleports, has certified the Lurín teleport in Hispasat with Tier 4 level, the highest certification standard available.
The certifications for telepuertos of the WTA They are distributed in four levels, ranging from the Tier 4 (upper) to Tier 1 (lower). This classification, created by a volunteer committee made up of teleport, satellite and technology executives, values the facilities, technical infrastructure and operational procedures, incluyendo la continuidad de las actividades, las cadenas de transmisión, la conectividad terrestre, la seguridad, la seguridad física y de la información, y la gestión de la capacidad, las configuraciones, la disponibilidad y los cambios en los procesos.
El último telepuerto en unirse al deseado Tier 4 de WTA es el Lurín de Hispasat, infraestructura peruana que se une a otros telepuertos propiedad de A1 Telekom Austria, Arqiva, AzerCosmos, Cytaglobal, e&, Eutelsat, Intelsat, Nilesat, Optus, Singtel, Telespazio, USEI y VIVACOM.
