Riedel opens a new technology center in the heart of Berlin

The new 'Technology Hub Berlin' Riedel Communications, located at Checkpoint Charlie, complements the existing hubs in Wuppertal, Eisenberg, Vienna, Zurich, Montreal and Porto, thus underlining the manufacturer's commitment to advancing R&D activities for the broadcast and events industry.

Each hub focuses on specific aspects of engineering and innovation, with a strong emphasis on adapting to industry changes, such as transition to IP-based transport of media signals in the broadcast industry.

The Berlin Technology Hub is ready to boost the development of cutting-edge audio systems and with a vision of the future, taking advantage of the experience of former employees of Younger Audio (which sold a portion of its divisions to Riedel in 2019) recognized for its extensive experience in developing technologically advanced digital audio processors and algorithms for live production, television, radio stations and streaming services.

The hub's Innovation Lab, powered by creative talents, spearheads product innovation in software-based media processing, networking, virtualization and deployment with its inventive ideas and early developments.

In addition, the new Berlin Technology Center houses a specialized systems engineering team focused on the definition, simulation of systems and development of solutions. next generation wireless communications.

With a current team of eight professionals, the hub actively seeks international talent to join their ranks in Germany's vibrant and culturally rich capital. The office, designed to accommodate up to 15 people, aims to become a focal point for talent in various specialties, driving product innovation at Riedel.
