RTVE will choose the most illustrious Spanish in ‘The best in history’

Silvia Intxaurrondo presents ‘The best in history’, a new format of RTVE in collaboration with The Pool that aims to find the figure "more relevant and admired" in the history of Spain.

Silvia Intxaurrondo will lead this space that will choose Best Spanish in History and that will be issued in prime time and live. Intxaurrondo will have the collaboration of famous collaborators and experts in each subject that will discuss the Trajectory, genius, merits and legacy of the most influential characters.

Scientists, artists, communicators, athletes, politicians or writers, from Christopher Columbus to Rosalía de Castro, through Isabel II, Pablo Picasso, Ramón y Cajal, Amancio Ortega or Fernando Alonso, make up a list that spectators can already vote through the portal elmejordelahistoria.com. The 50 characters are organized into five groups. In each program they will be presented to the 10 finalists of each of them. Throughout six episodes, the program will propose a Weekly online vote to choose between the two most voted protagonists of each group, who They will face in a duel. From each program a finalist will be the favorite of the audience. In the final the five most voted characters of the previous programs will compete. Only one of them will rise as "the best in history."

While the list has been preselected by RTVE y The Pool, spectators can propose to characters that do not appear in the initial list.
