Fujifilm brings the cinema look and efficient data storage on tape to broadcast

Regarding lenses, at IBC 2024 three members of the familia Duvo: los models 25-1000, 24-300 and Duvo 14-100, which one covers the wide angle and stands out for its versatility: from photographing an entire stage at a music concert, or getting close to an athlete at a sports venue to capture an immersive scene.
The Fujinon Duvo 14-100 is a double format and is compatible with two types of large image sensors. While it covers from a 14mm wide angle to a 100mm medium telephoto lens in Super 35, it is the smallest and lightest of the Duvo series, with 266.9mm in length and 2.54kg in weight, making it a comfortable lens to carry in your hand. Furthermore, with the Built-in 1.5 expander, the lens becomes a 21-150mm that covers the 16:9 format on Large Format cameras.
Kangaroo Lite
As far as data archiving is concerned, Fujifilm carried out at IBC 2024 Kangaroo Lite, a compact, turnkey solution that has been created for those organizations that require storage for capacities from 100 terabytes. This tabletop proposal, type plug and play, is an ergonomic and easy-to-handle device, and weighs approximately 40 kg.
Kangaroo Lite has been designed to store long term data on tape, offering high protection against cyber attacks, an archive life of more than 30 years and the possibility of making multiple copies.
Fujifilm's latest development can connect with multiple data sources and destinations. In addition, it includes management software Object Archive from Fujifilm, created specifically for long-term data preservation and protection. This software saves data in an open format, making it compatible with a large number of disk and tape systems, and ensuring that data is accessible and manageable, even as technology evolves.
