Kangaroo

As for the new data storage solution that will be unveiled at the fair, it is called Kangaroo and integrates all the hardware (server and tape library), LTO Ultrium tapes and software that the user needs to store long-term data in a secure, sustainable way and free of proprietary formats, available from 2 native Petabytes.

KangarooIt is a solución tipo plug & play personalizable, very easy to use, with all the components pre-installed in the same place, so that the user can decide its best location, with the aim of keeping the company's most critical information always nearby.

Kangaroo allows you to rear a safe space between data and cybercrime, Since, decoupling the company's most critical information from the network thanks to tape storage reduces vulnerability to any type of cyber attack.

Additionally, tape technology offers a data integrity superior to that of the hard drive, archival longevity of more than 30 years, and a self-healing system architecture in the event of an error during data writing, so users can rest easy knowing their data is protected for the long term.

To facilitate the exit strategy and integration to any system, Fujifilm Kangaroo uses software Fujifilm Object Archive, which is self-describing, open source and compatible with a large number of disk systems and tape libraries on the market, to free users from any proprietary formats.
