Studio Technologies shows its new range of ST 2110 announcer consoles at NAB 2025
NAB 2025 (April 6 – 9, Las Vegas) hosts the premiere by Studio Technologies of three new ST 2110 compatible announcer consoles: the six-channel talkback model 5536, the four-channel talkback model 5534 and the two-channel talkback model 5532.
A wide function set user interface and configurable resources make the model series 553X adapts to demanding applications in broadcast environments. Each offers a combination of analog and digital audio capabilities high performance, and it does so while requiring minimal connections for its deployment.
Units are compatible with the set of standards SMPTE ST 2110 to implement audio network connectivity. With just a Gigabit Ethernet PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) network connection, a microphone, and a pair of headphones, you can create a full live broadcast position. Furthermore, with the addition of a second Ethernet connection, improved ST 2110 performance can be achieved using the standard ST 2022-7 Redundant Streams.
The model 5536 supports ten ST 2110 receiver channels (input) and an integrated side tone function that allows users to easily create the headphone audio mix they want, while a eleventh receiving channel (input) ST 2110 allows you to create an alternative talk microphone audio source. In parallel, a independent Gigabit network interface Provides access to product management web pages where support staff can quickly and easily “customize” the operation of a unit.
The models 5536, 5524 y 5532 They have a compact steel casing measuring 17.0 cm wide, 8.1 cm high and 15.5 cm deep, and weigh 1.1 kg. primary, secondary and FPGA firmware (programmable logic) can be updated on all three products via the USB port on the back of the unit, although the ST 2110 firmware can be updated via one of the Ethernet connections.
