Robe's SVB1 and iForte LTX light up Eurovision 2025

As official technical partner of Eurovision 2025, event held at the St. Jakobshalle pavilion in Basel (Switzerland), Robe deployed in collaboration with the supplier Neg Earth Lights hundreds of your solutions to help SRG SSR and the EBU create nearly 50 unique performance environments.

Florian Wieder was in charge of the set design and production design for the 2025 edition of the contest, which included an impressive transparent LED display of 750 square meters and an industrial-scale three-dimensional video frame in the front that defined the space. The surface could be revealed or blended with the lighting depending on the overall visual appearance of each participant.

All the iForte of Robe were used for key lighting, with some running on 12 remote tracking base stations RoboSpot. On the other hand, the SVB1 They occupied a prominent place in the flying frames of the stage. The fixtures were placed close together to display a wide range of pixel and strobe effects.

The winner of Eurovision 2025 was the Austrian JJ (Johannes Pietsch) with “Wasted Love”, an operatic-style ballad set in a storm at sea, with a hugely cinematic presentation full of contrasts and monochrome moments.
