Jorge Alonso directs 'Everything We Never Were', the film adaptation of the successful novel by Alice Kellen

'Everything We Never Were', the first installment of the bilogy 'Let It Happen' by Alice Kellen, begins filming with production by Versus Entertainment, Lyo Media and Bixagu, and co-produced with Elephantec Global and Crea4U, with the participation of HBO Max and Warner Bros. Pictures Spain.

The film will star Maxi Iglesias, known for titles such as Valeria and Matices, and the Portuguese actress Margarida Corceiro, who has recently stood out in Punto Nemo and Citas Barcelona; and is considered one of the new European talents with the greatest projection. The film is directed by Jorge Alonso (lucky path). The film will be shot in different locations in Zumaia, Zarauz, San Sebastián and Madrid.

In the film, Leah (Margarida Corceiro), a young aspiring painter, is devastated. Since the tragic accident that took his parents, he has become a shadow of what he used to be. When Leah's older brother Oliver is offered a job far from home, he asks his best friend Axel (Maxi Iglesias) to take care of her. Unaware that Leah has always been in love with him and that their lives are about to change radically, Axel promises to take care of her. Their mission is to help Leah rebuild her life and become the girl she was before. As their attraction to each other grows to unbearable proportions, Leah and Axel must decide whether to repress their love or let it happen.
