Broadcast Solutions - Brutal Güet Gueet - Mobile Unit S12

The Swiss producer Brutal güet renews its fleet of mobile units with the Streamline S12 vehicle, a next-generation production unit developed by Broadcast Solutions.

The Streamline S12 It is part of the family of Streamline mobile units developed by Broadcast Solutions, an initiative that seeks to make the construction of mobile units more fast, easy and efficient. Despite this “standardized” approach, the integrator offers its customers a wide range of configuration options to adapt each vehicle to their needs. The result is vehicles that offer significant cost advantages and shorter delivery times, without compromising quality, innovation or future-proofing.

The vehicle built for Brutal güet is a 12 camera mobile unit, ready for UHD-HDR workflows and featuring a three-room layout, flexible production areas and generous storage space with an additional work area and hydraulic lift. Equipped with an expandable side, the mobile unit can accommodate 14 staff members.

During the design phase, Broadcast Solutions placed special emphasis on flexibility. The storage compartment includes an additional workstation, while the audio control room is arranged transversely, allowing the audio engineer to maintain visual contact with the production area through a window, a detail that simplifies work in live environments.

Technically, the S12 is committed to next-generation solutions that allow production in HD/HDR and UHD/HDR. Specifically, the mobile unit has eight cameras Sony HDC-3500 (expandable to twelve) with lenses Fujinon, including three large lens systems; a manageable signal routing through a router Ross Ultrix 5RU and a multiviewer system, fully compatible with 12G; a video mixer Sony MLS-X1 as the core of video operations, supported by two systems EVS VIA Sportlight and two recorders AJA Ki Pro HDD; signal processing using components Ross y Cobalt, which provide SDR/HDR conversion, and monitors Convision.

In terms of audio, the S12 aims to set “new standards” for multilingual productions. The audio control room is centered on a console Theirs mc²56 con 48 faders, interfaces DirectOut and speakers Genelec 5.1. The configuration is complemented by microphones Sennheiser, two audio/video stageboxes, a wireless stagebox and multiple commentary panels.

Communication and infrastructure are managed through a Riedel Intercom 1024 and an Arista network, and, when it comes to power, it has a powerful UPS unit, which guarantees uninterrupted operation even at full load in case of failure. Control and monitoring of the vehicle is managed through the interface system hi human, which offers an intuitive and easy-to-use interface to allow simplification and automation of processes.

Matthias Hahn, Senior Director of Budgets and Projects Broadcast Solutions and responsible for the S12 project, provides more details of the process of creating this mobile unit: "Together with our client, we were able to plan and complete the new mobile unit in an extraordinarily short time. A particularly highlight was the presentation of the vehicle at the IBC fair, where we received very positive feedback together with the team from Brutal güet, without delaying the delivery schedule. Brutal güet He was delighted with our work, from planning to production and final configuration. “The S12 is once again a great example of what the Broadcast Solutions team can achieve and how close, equal partnership with our clients really pays off.”

Jonas Zurbriggen, director of operations Brutal güet, has also expressed his satisfaction with the new production vehicle: "We are very happy with the Streamline S12, especially in terms of technology and production capabilities. The high quality of the construction and the impeccable execution of the project with the Broadcast Solutions team was exceptional, especially considering the short construction period of about six months."
