esRadio renews its infrastructure with DHD RX2 production consoles installed by ASPA
esRadio install audio production consoles DHD RX2 for its headquarters in Madrid supplied and commissioned by Agrupación de Servicios y Productos de Audio (BLADE).
“The RX2 is a complete audio production system that takes esRadio's quality and efficiency to a whole new level,” comments ASPA's technical project management team. "Designed for the most demanding radio and television environments, it has a scalable modular structure that offers maximum adaptability even in small spaces. The installed configuration consists of two consoles, each with 18 physical faders. Each console comprises three fader modules and a control module, but its capacity is doubled thanks to a layer function which allows complete control over a greater number of channels without taking up additional physical space. The consoles incorporate fmotorized aders of 100 mm with dust protection that guarantee high quality and long-lasting performance.”
Regarding its operation, the experience is fluid and intuitive thanks to the 10.1 inch touch screens integrated into each section. These allow quick channel configuration and centralized control. The programmable RGB buttons and the flexible encoders They adapt their function to the content on the screen, providing easy access to essential tools such as equalizers, dynamics and gain adjustments.
"On a processing level, the heart of every DHD system is its core, a compact unit that drives a huge audio matrix with up to 96 fully processed stereo faders. The core requires no hard drives or fans, ensuring quiet, low-maintenance operation, crucial for a studio environment. Compatible con Dante, AES67, Ravenna, ST 2110 y MADI, the system is a future-ready solution for broadcasting.”
"For the routing of broadcast signals and communication between the consoles, we installed a DHD 52-7523 central matrix. Thanks to the logical functionality between the matrix, the consoles and DHD's MatrixControl, it is possible to route the main broadcast submatrices, manage advertising breaks and select the studio for the broadcast, both manually and using conditional logic," ASPA assures.
For the daily management of its broadcasts, esRadio uses the XFrame Radio automation software, developed by the ASPA R&D department. This system is characterized by its quality, adaptability and security.
"It is a technological benchmark in Spain and has an important international presence. We want to thank esRadio for its continued trust in ASPA and in our professional solutions over the years," they conclude from ASPA.
