DiGiCo Quantum 225 DS

Over the past five years, the Quantum 225 DiGiCo It has enjoyed great popularity for its versatility in different environments from broadcast to concerts, theaters or places of worship. Now, this compact mixing console evolves with the introduction of the Quantum 225 DS.

While the standard Quantum 225 features a stand on the left panel to accommodate a channel or overview screen, a KLANG:kontroller or a laptop, the Quantum 225 DS is eEquipped with two 17-inch TFT multi-touch screens, full color and daylight bright, which improve functionality and workflow control.

The inclusion of the package optional DiGiCo Pulse software increases the power and versatility of the new Quantum 225 DS, raising its number of input channels to 96 (from 72), the number of buses to 48 (from 36) and the Mustard and Nodal processors to 36 and 48, respectively (from 24 and 32). Mix Minus is also included in the console's Pulse feature set, and the table can be further enhanced with the optional T software from the manufacturer for tailored theater-focused features.

Upgrade path

Additionally, an upgrade path is available for existing Quantum 225 consoles, for those wishing to increase their functionality and performance.

Ideal for fast-paced live environments, the Quantum 225 DS features 41 mini TFTs distributed over the entire surface to provide unparalleled feedback and interaction to the user. Also includes a 12x12 matrix, four MADI ports and two DMI ports for greater connectivity, 8x8 analog channels and four AES channels for local I/O, integrated UB MADI, optional optics, integration with Fourier Audio and Waves SoundGrid, in addition to double power supply.
