Liwest launches Next, new IPTV platform based on AgileTV technology

The solutions of AgileTV allow the Austrian telecommunications company Livest create and manage Next, an IPTV platform that combines linear television with OTT services.

The new platform TvaaS Next is supported by a robust, secure and high-quality infrastructure availability, aligned with high standards of data protection and powered by “certified green energy.” This IPTV solution combines linear and OTT television through full integration with applications Android TV and a wide range of channels.

The platform has a modern user interface with custom navigation and admits advanced features. Likewise, it provides a multi-device experience on iOS and Android mobile devices, as well as major television ecosystems such as Android TV, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV Stick and smart TVs Samsung (TIZEN).

The implementation of Agile TV guarantees a smooth transition from legacy systems, reinforcing the Spanish firm's ability to offer scalable television services and latest generation to telecommunications operators. The solution provided to Livest has capabilities of superaggregation, and open content system allowing flexible integration of third-party platforms and full support for regionalization, in order to adapt the content offer to the needs of the local market.
