NU-701 CanonMoncada y Lorenzo has developed a solution for centralized control via IP of Canon outdoor robotic cameras, model NU-701. These provide high image quality thanks to their 3 CCDs and the 20X zoom lens (4.2 – 84mm). Its compact design provides maintenance-free operation. Centralized control software, AVSC, allows control of any number of cameras from a single user interface. It incorporates functions such as user management (includes definition of access levels), camera management, creation and calling of memories, creation of memory sets (for example: meteorology, traffic,...). The main applications are information on traffic, airports, meteorology, outdoor sporting events, wildlife monitoring,...

Canal Sur Televisión and Sogecable already have this solution for use in their news programs.
