The technical deployment for the recording, produced by Mediaset together with Warner Bros. ITVP Spain, includes 11 ENG equipment, 59 robotic cameras, 8 tons of material and 16,000 meters of cable on board the cruise ship.
About to complete 1,000 broadcasts on the air and after having promoted nearly 5,000 appointments through its daily broadcast format, First Dates takes a turn in the new specials that he has begun to record under the title First Dates Crucero. For the first time, the dating show Four He leaves the restaurant and boards a cruise ship, MSC Bellissima, to promote meetings between people looking for love and, if the spark arises, go beyond their first date and see what the first steps of their budding relationship are like.
The network will produce the program, presented by Carlos Sobera, in collaboration with Warner Bros. ITVP Spain.

Technical deployment
First Dates Crucero has meant a challenge for the technical team due to the particular conditions involved in recording on board a ship: the production has had to adapt to the security protocols and to do this it has had the help and advice of MSC Cruises engineers in a process that has lasted more than three months of project and realization; All the material that is being used in the recordings (such as wiring, decorative objects, makeup and work tools) is fire retardant; and the planning The assembly had to be very rigorous in order to make it compatible with the ship's schedules and with the rest hours of the rest of the passengers.
The technical deployment includes 16,000 meters of cable and 8 tons of technical material that had to be moved from Madrid to Barcelona in 2 trailers each 10 meters long.
The program has installed 59 robotic cameras: 11 cameras in the Horizon Pool, the pool that is in the stern and has as a natural background the cities where the ship docks; 21 at the L’Atelier Bistro restaurant; 13 in the cabins; and 14 in the duplex, a two-story room with a jacuzzi where singles can give free rein to their passion. Furthermore, it has 11 ENG teams and 4 production controls (As a curiosity, one of them, the one in the duplex, has been installed in a dressing room).
