Hitachi Z-HD5000, primera HD de la serie Z
With native scanning in 1080/59.94i or 1080/50i, it is the first HD camera in the affordable Z series. It incorporates digital triax and includes FPGA devices for the incorporation of new software functionalities.
After the disappearance of the European tariff, Hitachi is trying to regain its market share with the launch of an innovative proposal for next-generation HD cameras. At NAB 2009, Hitachi will unveil its new portable and attachable HDTV camera for studio and EFP Z-HD5000, with native scanning in 1080/59.94i or 1080/50i. It is the first HDTV model camera in the popular and affordable Z Series product line. The Z-HD5000 is a two-piece attachable camera with the versatility and flexibility needed for multi-purpose applications, including studio, field and mobile video production. It can be coupled to a COFDM transmission module (with all the functionalities of a CCU), fiber optic or triax, or to a P2 HD recorder for independent recording.
Offering high light sensitivity and low vertical fade, the Z-HD5000's three native 2/3-inch 1080i CCD sensors produce 800 lines of resolution, F10@2000 Lux, and 58db HD signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) level for a clear, clean image. These specifications compare favorably with Hitachi's high-end 2/3-inch progressive CCDs in the SK-HD1000, which produce 1100 TVL resolution, F11@2000 Lux and 60db SNR. While the SK-HD1000 has a motorized filter disk, the Z-HD5000 has a manual filter disk, but both models use the same 14-bit A/D converters and accessories. It has 14-bit A/D converters and low consumption with an adapter and viewfinder of only 16W, which does not require the incorporation of fans
The Z-HD5000 features a portable CCD shutter with three preset speeds, automatic exposure system (AES), which maintains the video level through a fixed F-stop of the lens, and the ability to locate and splice camera video with images from asynchronous video monitors, video walls or projectors without any flicker.
