Video on demand in Cabovisão with Mirada

The Portuguese operator will integrate VoD and EPG applications from the Spanish company Mirada into its network.

Mirada has reached an agreement to provide the Portuguese Cabovisão with a complete solution for video on demand and EPG.

The project, estimated at around 700,000 euros, is part of the migration plan to DTT and IPTV environments that the Portuguese operator is carrying out.

José Luis Vázquez, CEO of Mirada, noted that "this agreement is an important step in increasing our presence in Europe. We hope that we will take advantage of this great opportunity and our experience to increase the video on demand experience for the operator's thousands of current users and, hopefully, for new ones in the future."
