Video on demand companies inaugurate the coalition European VOD Coalition to represent the fastest growing media sector in the European Union.
This coalition will address policymakers and regulators across Europe on behalf of companies that invest in and distribute audiovisual content in Europe as part of their core business activities.
The European Video on Demand Coalition brings together video on demand and digital entertainment companies that share common values and invest in and distribute audiovisual content in Europe. VOD in Europe grew exponentially by 3000% between 2010 and 2020, according to the European Audiovisual Observatory. No other European sector on average has experienced such growth.
