After installing the application on a connected 3D TV, the consumer will only have to select the 3DGo! to access numerous 3D content in Full HD with minimal bandwidth thanks to Sensio Hi-Fi technology.

Sensio Technologies has announced the launch in a few months of 3DGo!, a 3D video on demand service designed to encourage users' familiarization with stereoscopy. With 3DGo!, consumers in the US will benefit from a complete and easily accessible 3D solution with numerous 3D titles in high quality (Full HD), some of them filmed in IMAX 3D format.

3DGo! It will offer a wide variety of 3D content from major productions to documentaries.

3DGo! It will use Sensio Hi-Fi 3D technology, providing the highest image quality among compatible frame formats. Sensio Hi-Fi 3D is a stereoscopic signal processing technology that is easily integrated into display products.

Thanks to this compression technology, a 120-minute Full HD 3D movie would require only about 2 GB of data.

After installing the application on a connected 3D TV, the consumer will only need to select the 3DGo! to access 3D content without subscription or additional equipment.
Nicholas Routhier, president and CEO of Sensio, stated that with this initiative "we are committed to bringing added value to our Sensio Hi-Fi 3D customers. We know that customers want more 3D content and easy access. This is exactly what we pursue with 3DGo!. For the first time, consumers will be able to easily access the largest library dedicated to 3D video on demand directly from their 3DTVs."

The new service will offer more than a hundred titles through streaming before the end of the year. The new service is unveiled this week at CES 2012 in Las Vegas.
