Drastic Technologies launches 4KScope analysis software for 4K signals
Drastic Technologies has launched the 4KScope waveform monitor, histogram, vectorscope and monitor for low-cost 4K signal monitoring.
Drastic Technologies launch the 4KScope analysis software. Designed to harness the full power of AJA Kona Quad 3G cards in HD and 4K, this versatile software is designed to provide a low-cost 4K signal monitoring solution.
The 4KScope is designed to control 4K signals in resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 together with the AJA Kona 3G. Drastic is also compatible with other AJA input/output hardware for non-4K monitoring.
4KScope software is a dedicated application that allows users to view their video signal through a powerful range of signal analysis and monitoring tools for real-time quality control, signal tracking and analysis, or workflow and device configuration and calibration.
It supports singe/dual-link HD-SDI, 3G dual-link and 3G type connections. In audio, it is compatible with embedded audio, AES/EBU and analog. Its metadata support includes TC/SMPTE analog time code and user bits, VITC/D-VITC, RP-188 HANC, RP-215 VANC, key code, ink code, and Active Format Description detection.
4KScope is available for Windows XP 32/64 from v.7 and Apple OS X 10.6 or higher. It is also available for Linux as an OEM product.
