The new CL5 consoles debut in summer on the 20th anniversary of Cadena 100

The sound of the concert with which the radio station celebrated its anniversary in Madrid was truly spectacular and the sound engineer Bori Alarcón had all the resources of the CL5 and the help of the Wave SoundGrid Plug-In card.

The new CL5 consoles Yamaha, which are already touring Spanish cities during the numerous festivals this summer, premiered their season coinciding with the twentieth anniversary of Cadena 100.

The culmination of the twentieth anniversary of Cadena 100 closed at the beginning of June with a great music festival held at the Vicente Calderón Stadium in Madrid with the most important and representative artists of these two decades of musical history. It was a very special concert, with more than seven hours of live music without interruption with around twenty artists.

To undertake Dani Martín's performance, the organization had the help of the new Yamaha CL5 digital console and the Rio3224D input and output racks.

The sound was truly spectacular and sound engineer Bori Alarcón had all the resources of the CL5 and the help of the Wave SoundGrid Plug-In card. Basically he only had to choose between the large number of equalizers and dynamics processing offered by the Premium Rack of the new CL to meet all the needs of a great performance like that of Dani Martín and his band.

Thanks to a network audio communication system based on the Dante protocol, it was possible to send the reference metronomes to the musicians recorded on a Mac Book Pro and at the same time it was possible to record all the inputs simultaneously with a simple CAT5 cable connected to the computer.

The CL5 did an excellent job without the need for any external equipment or large processing racks, just a simple computer and a cable.
