Dolby Atmos enhances the action of the upcoming premiere of 'The Jungle: A Good Day to Die'
The fifth installment of the saga the jungle will be mixed in Dolby Atmos in the prestigious Zanuck Theater post-production studio on the Twentieth Century Fox set. 'Lost Place' and 'Trance' will also be released in Dolby's new immersive audio format.
John McClane heads this time to Red Square in Moscow, and fans of the saga crystal jungle can enjoy the sound of the fast-paced action in Dolby Atmos when The jungle: A good day to die hits theaters next month (February 7, 2013 in Hong Kong and Singapore and February 14, 2013 in the United States).
Twentieth Century Fox ha confirmado que The jungle: A good day to die, his most anticipated Valentine's Day 2013 box office hit, will be the fourth feature film featured in Dolby Atmos that will follow in the wake of the premieres of Revenge: Istanbul Connection, Chasing Mavericks y life of pi, from director Ang Lee.
Dolby Atmos, the new audio platform that has revolutionized the sound experience in entertainment, will immerse audiences in the middle of the action when John McClane (Bruce Willis) travels to Russia to help his son Jack (Jai Courtney), now a CIA agent, prevent the theft of nuclear weapons by terrorists. Dolby Atmos will offer a new sound experience to the film thanks to more natural and realistic audio that will allow the audience to feel inside it.

Lost Place y Trance
Likewise, two new international films, Lost Place y Trance, will be mixed and released in Dolby Atmos.
Lost Place is a German mystery thriller about four young men searching for treasure using a GPS who come across an abandoned US military radio tower. The tower was part of a secret military operation that will put young people in danger. It is scheduled to premiere in Germany on April 11, 2013, and will also be screened in mid-February 2013 during the European Film Market at the Berlinale.
Sound technician Holger Lehmann and supervising sound editor Martin Frühmorgen will direct the Dolby Atmos mix in the Rotor Film Babelsberg post-production center on the Studio Babelsberg set.

Trance is a British crime thriller that tells the story of the search for a lost painting. The film intertwines the actions of a gang of thieves and a hypnotist who gets into trouble in a quest for art. Its premiere is scheduled for this spring.
Trance will be mixed in Dolby Atmos at the illustrious Powell Theater at Pinewood Studios in the UK by supervising sound editor Glenn Freemantle and sound technicians Ian Tapp and Niv Adiri. Dolby Altmos mixing is planned for mid-January.
Trance, produced by Fox Searchlight, will be distributed internationally by Twentieth Century Fox, while Pathé will distribute the film in the United Kingdom and France.
