The new RTS Adam Omneo interface cards from RTS They aim to transform the RTS Adam intercom system into a flexible, IP-based, AVB-compatible intercom network. The Omneo media network architecture goes beyond traditional AVB solutions by incorporating industry-standard open control architecture (OCA) and AVB media transport in addition to IP-based transport, ensuring future interconnectivity across a growing number of devices.
RTS Adam Omneo products will allow Adam intercom systems to be deployed over any standard IP-based network. Most importantly, Omneo users will not be limited to other providers' proprietary backbone infrastructure. This makes RTS the open IP network solution for professional production intercom.
With RTS and Omneo essential tasks such as deploying intercom user stations, linking via trunking and connecting to third-party devices are now much simpler and more flexible. Incorporating RTS Adam Omneo cards into any RTS Adam compatible system means that even existing installations can be connected over standard IP hardware with high quality ultra-low latency audio.
The product range consists of the Adam Ameno RTS card for ADAM and ADAM-M intercom frames and a user station interface card for select RTS keypanel models. The two cards completely upgrade the connectivity of these RTS intercom products to be fully IP compatible.
The RTS Omneo connection provides full bandwidth audio, +/- 1 db from 50 Hz – 19 kHz with a typical latency of less than 20 ms.
This solution includes a comprehensive DHCP, mDNS, and DNS-SD client to support dynamic and static IP addressing.
OMI Adam RTS array cards fit into the standard slots of RTS Adam or Adam-M frames and provide a gateway to the Omneo world of compatible IP networks. The card consists of traditional Adam card components and enhances RTS Adam systems.
The OMI card is available in configurations of up to 64 bidirectional ports in 16-port increments on a single card and can be expanded from the base 16-port configuration via software upgrades.
