This is Sony's new α7S camera, with interchangeable lenses and full frame

Its large dynamic range is also ideal for high-contrast scenes, as it can effortlessly handle extreme brightness and deep, rich blacks in the same frame.

Thanks to the extraordinary sensitivity of the image sensor, the amount of light it can collect increases dramatically when compared to conventional cameras. The newly developed image sensor provides photographers/videographers with great dynamic range in any conditions, from the most extreme darkness to the brightest sunlight.

Thanks to the full pixel transmission of the entire 35mm, full-frame sensor, there is a notable absence of unwanted aliasing (moiré) effects and jagged edges, present in lower resolution videos. Its strikingly clear images can be recorded to a memory card in Full HD quality in the XAVC S recording format at a bit rate of 50Mbps, a speed highly valued among professional video producers. In APS¬C mode the α7S supports a high frame rate of 120fps or 100fps with HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels). 120fps recordings can be played back at 24p for a 5x slow motion effect, ideal for seeing every detail of a sports scene or the fastest dance moves.
