TVE News in Sant Cugat renews its onair graphics with Data Media
The project to renew the graphics and signage generation equipment at the RTVE Sant Cugat center, as well as the adaptation and improvement of the current workflow of the graphic design area, has relied on Avid technology integrated by Data Media.
Datos Media Technologies has carried out a project to renew the graphics and signage generation equipment at the RTVE Sant Cugat center, as well as the adaptation and improvement of the current workflow of the graphic design area, allowing quick centralized access to projects, templates, images, graphics and maps, among others, from the writing stations, post-production booths and different centers.
To achieve these objectives, the integration of the suite has been used Avid Maestro, Avid WorldMapper as well as their respective plugins and hardware. These solutions ensure full integration with existing facilities equipment, Avid iNews newsroom system, Avid Command automation and advanced editing clients.
Virginia López, Project Manager at Data Media Technologies, highlights that "once again it has been a pride to be able to work with RTVE. La suite de Avid Maestro es una solución modular que permite crear, distribuir o emitir videos y gráficos 2D/3D de alta resolución. En esta instalación se ha dotado a los usuarios de la posibilidad de producir rótulos avanzados por medio de las plantillas desde los puestos del Sistema de Redacción y desde los puestos de edición avanzada, Avid Newscutter y MediaComposer, permitiendo un visionado previo en tiempo real de los textos y gráficos para emisión.
Avid WorldMapper es una herramienta que permite crear mapas para la localización y recreación de noticias. Confiere al usuario la opción de enriquecer con un elemento infográfico introduciéndolo en la producción de su información o cualquier programa.
Todo bajo la potencia de la tecnología de Avid HDVG+ que permite realizar los renders de los gráficos realizados por los clientes sin consumir sus recursos locales y posibilita la emisión de dichos elementos en la mejor calidad, con la mayor robustez y seguridad.
La compatibilidad entre este sistema y los existentes también se ha tenido en cuenta, ya que con los distintos plugins se consigue importar o exportar a otras herramientas de diseño gráfico los distintos proyectos y objetos ahorrando tiempo y facilitando el trabajo.
