TVE News in Sant Cugat renews its onair graphics with Data Media

The project to renew the graphics and signage generation equipment at the RTVE Sant Cugat center, as well as the adaptation and improvement of the current workflow of the graphic design area, has relied on Avid technology integrated by Data Media.

Datos Media Technologies has carried out a project to renew the graphics and signage generation equipment at the RTVE Sant Cugat center, as well as the adaptation and improvement of the current workflow of the graphic design area, allowing quick centralized access to projects, templates, images, graphics and maps, among others, from the writing stations, post-production booths and different centers.

To achieve these objectives, the integration of the suite has been used Avid Maestro, Avid WorldMapper as well as their respective plugins and hardware. These solutions ensure full integration with existing facilities equipment, Avid iNews newsroom system, Avid Command automation and advanced editing clients.

The Avid Maestro suite is a modular solution that allows you to create, distribute or broadcast high-resolution 2D/3D videos and graphics. In this installation, users have been provided with the possibility of producing advanced signs using templates from the Editorial System stations and from the advanced editing stations, Avid Newscutter and MediaComposer, allowing real-time preview of the texts and graphics for broadcast.

Avid WorldMapper is a tool that allows you to create maps for locating and recreating news. It gives the user the option to enrich with an infographic element by introducing it in the production of their information or any program.

All under the power of Avid HDVG+ technology that allows rendering of graphics made by clients without consuming their local resources and makes it possible to broadcast said elements in the best quality, with the greatest robustness and security.

The compatibility between this system and the existing ones has also been taken into account, since with the different plugins it is possible to import or export the different projects and objects to other graphic design tools, saving time and facilitating the work.
