BIT Audiovisual: 30 years advancing the future of audiovisual
During these three decades, the Professional Audiovisual Technology Show has served to anticipate the radical transformation in this industry. The 2018 edition, which will take place from May 8 to 10, will continue to advance the future not only with the largest exhibition area in Southern Europe but also with a complete program of conferences in which around thirty key topics for the sector will be addressed.
The latest trends and solutions technologies applied to both broadcast environments and new medias will once again occupy the contents of the Professional Audiovisual Technology Show, BIT Audiovisual, which organizes IFEMA at Madrid Fair, the next May 8 to 10.
The 2018 edition will be somewhat special since the reference show for professionals in the sector will meet three decades ahead of the future of audiovisuals. Precisely to continue advancing the future of audiovisual communication in any of its supports and means of distribution, BIT Audiovisual 2018 will count, in addition to its Largest exhibition area dedicated to broadcast and new media technology and with the broadest participation of companies and visitors to Southern Europe, with a extensive program of days in which prominent professionals will participate.
This program will be configured around four areas: broadcast; corporate and new AV expression formulas such as digital signage; cinema, and advertising.
Among the nearly thirty issues that will be addressed this day, in morning and afternoon sessions, the round tables dedicated to the production, post-production and distribution of content in 4K UHD stand out; new infrastructures based on IP environments; the transformation of the business with the emergence of emerging OTT models; 5G, and coding and band optimization (whether terrestrial, satellite or cable/fiber).
The professionals who come to BIT Audiovisual They will be able to learn first-hand about the user experience in relation to high dynamic range (HDR); the possibilities opened by the cloud and virtualization; the eSports boom; blockchain and its impact on media, and the development of new radio business models based on totally digital or hybrid (analog-digital) concepts.
BIT Audiovisual 2018 This year it will accommodate corporate environments and non-broadcast audiovisual applications.. Among other issues, the use of video and corporate channels will be addressed; the development of IP networks in stadiums and arenas; the power of the image in street marketing, and the use of virtual reality in tourism (the country's first industry).
As far as cinema is concerned, BIT Audiovisual 2018 will organize “movie afternoons” in which experiences related to the financing of film projects will be discussed; the broadcast of live events on the big screen; protection and security in the distribution of content, and alternative models to bring cinema to the end user outside the circuit of the majors.
Finally, BIT Audiovisual will also address audience analysis in a non-linear multichannel environment, brandchannel, programmatic advertising or the application of big data to delve deeper into the profile of the viewer or consumer of audiovisual content.
