VoiceInteraction presents a fully automatic all-in-one solution for subtitles,
The Audimus.Media solution for live subtitling with multilingual modules aims to help break the language barrier faced by video consumers.
VoiceInteraction is showing in NAB 2019 (SU11021) a new standard in the landscape of automatic subtitling solutions, with the solution Audimus.Media for live subtitling with multilingual modules to help break the language barrier faced by video consumers.
It is a fully automatic solution for subtitles, ready to respond to all the needs of broadcasters, as it is an all-in-one solution for live TV, live streaming and VOD.
Audimus.Media is built on VoiceInteraction's speech processing technology as a proprietary automatic subtitling solution that includes next-generation sign processing and machine learning techniques for live programs. A solution that covers all closed captioning accessibility requirements for live TV broadcasting, webcasting, VOD publishing and video metadata indexing, with advanced audio sign analysis, high-vocabulary speech recognition, speaker identification, scoring and automatic content segmentation to produce highly accurate closed captioning with low latency.
To ensure that the language knowledge base is kept up to date, along with online text sources, news scripts are extracted from the television station's computer system and incorporated into machine learning processes to enable constant adaptation to local terms, names and expressions. To address speaker accent diversity, alternative word pronunciations are automatically identified and used to expand the accepted range.
Working closely with its customers, the company quickly identified their growing subtitling needs and presented them with solutions to streamline several time-consuming workflows. Generating automatic subtitles for live TV shows was the starting point, but with viewers moving to live streaming platforms, we can now attach subtitles directly to video streams to ensure they follow the entire distribution channel. And as most television stations also distribute video segments via VOD platforms, Audimus.Media can now automatically export video clips with aligned subtitles along with valuable metadata useful for content indexing and retrieval or search engine optimization.
The sixth generation of Audimus.Media has reached a stage where the underlying fala processing technology offers a level of accuracy that is ready for broadcast and has been validated by all TV stations around the world who have adopted it to produce automatic subtitles for their live programmes. Additionally, having a single, affordable solution that handles closed captioning production and is available for multiple workflows allows every TV station to meet the highest accessibility standards.
