IBC will be the christening of the new Streamline S12T mobile unit model from Broadcast Solutions

The S12T OB works with up to 12 12G-SDI UHD Single Link based 4K/UHD cameras and offers enough 3G-SDI Quad Link gateways for monitoring.

In IBC 2019, the integrator Broadcast Solutions will present in its space outside the RAI (O.E02) the new model of Streamline S12T mobile unit.

With more than 45 units built and on the road, the Streamline concept has proven to be a success of integrating mobile units around the world.

In this case, the new S12T model is based on a 26-tonne self-propelled truck with a single expansion flask. The S12T works with up to 12 4K/UHD cameras based on 12G-SDI UHD Single Link and offers enough 3G-SDI Quad Link gateways for monitoring purposes.

With this new model, Broadcast Solutions is once again using innovative and future-oriented technology, combined with a flexible layout of workspace and rooms. All decisions by the integrator's engineering team are aimed at maximizing the use of space and resources within the vehicle, thus offering enough space for teams of up to 14 people working comfortably.

When designing the S12T, the Broadcast Solutions team conceived a mobile unit that offers the best of both worlds: a compact production studio with sophisticated production concepts and rooms incorporating the latest broadcast technology for live TV production. The resulting mobile unit offers maximum flexibility in a future-proof production tool.

Equipment

Deploying a small form factor but powerful switching capabilities, a Ross Ultrix array of Ross Video is the core of the UM, handling video/audio routing, multi-screen, and embedding/unembedding. The production is equipped with a video mixer Grass Valley Kahuna 6400 (2ME) while the audio section relies on a console Lawo mc2 56 MKII. A system Riedel Artist and a team Draco tera They are in charge of communication and connection.

As a novelty in the Streamline OB family, the Hi control system from Broadcast Solutions is responsible for controlling all areas relevant to the vehicle's production, such as the video/audio matrix, multi-screens and tally. Intuitive touch controls and newly developed high-quality hardware control panels simplify daily production operations in OB vans.
