Their annual company rankings by revenue and growth are compiled by surveying teleportation operators around the world

Puerto Rico

The World Teleport Association (WTA) has made public its now traditional selection of the best teleports in the world.

Annual company rankings by revenue and growth are compiled by surveying teleportation operators around the world, as well as by reference to published results of publicly owned companies.

The executive director of the association, Robert Bell, states that “this year's Top Operators truly reflected the impact of the changes affecting the satellite business.”

"The majority of our global list were satellite operators, but the Fast 10 list stood out for including only one satellite operator. With businesses that are more diverse in terms of transmission methods and applications, teleport operators have been less affected by the severe capacity pricing pressures affecting satellite operators," he adds.

In November 2021, the WTA will publish its annual report Inside the Top Operators, which will provide a more detailed analysis of the survey results.

The ranking of Top 20 It is led by SES (Luxembourg), Eutelsat (France), Speedcast (Australia) and Telesat (Canada).
