TV3 begins filming 'Artistes', a project dedicated to art promoted by YouPlanet and Bah! Studios

Artistes, production of TV3, YouPlanet y Bah! Studios with the Ampans Foundation, will give voice to young creators with intellectual disabilities and mental health disorders through channel 33.

The program is committed to sharing artistic experiences with young creators con intellectual disability and people known to viewers, such as the actor Ivan Labanda, the comedian Jose Corbacho, the singer Gisela and the journalist Roger de Gràcia. In these meetings, they will share their trajectories, their passions, and their ways of creating and working in disciplines such as photography, painting, music, musical theater, ballet or beat-box, among others.

This project was born when the program team visited the art project of the Ampans Foundation in Manresa, which works for the full inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities and developmental and mental health disorders. On this visit, they were impressed by the method used and by the strong personality that the exhibited works gave off. From there, as confirmed by TV3, was born Artistes: the desire to explore art from new perspectives, with the aim of offering a unique and surprising experience.

Artistes It is a production of Department of Cultural Programs of TV3, based on a joint proposal of YouPlanet y Bah! Studios with the Ampans Foundation, selected in the fourth call for innovative audiovisual projects to disseminate and discover Catalan culture organized by the Catalan Corporation for Audiovisual Media (CCMA) and the Catalan Institute of Cultural Media (ICEC) of the Department of Culture of the Generalitat.
