Hi human interface is consolidated in the main mobile unit of RTVE

Unitecnic y Broadcast Solutions have installed in the largest mobile unit of RTVE the hi human interface system, a solution that relies on an easy-to-use graphical interface for system control.

Hi human interface, solution supplied to RTVE by Unitecnic, partner of Broadcast Solutions in Spain, seeks to “revolutionize” the control of mobile unit systems through several avenues. Among them, the use of technology technologies stands out. self discovery; a configuration template based to reduce installation and configuration workload; his graphic interface, which allows anyone accustomed to smartphones to handle complex productions “without problems,” or their detection, management and control of Dante, NDI and SMPTE 2110 networks in the same environment.

The initial installation on the mobile unit with 24 RTVE cameras was completed in less than two days and the Spanish radio and television team was reinforced with training by Unitecnic. The redundancy of the hi human interface in this vehicle is “guaranteed”, according to Broadcast Solutions, through a three high availability server cluster, while control can be managed from “any device” using any web browser.

The first mobile unit with RTVE's hi human interface is already available in service, successfully managing major television hits such as Los Premios Goya and Benidorm Fest, as well as large-scale sporting events. Initially, the RTVE and Unitecnic contract covered three mobile units, although a second contract has just been signed for another five. RTVE Justifies this decision in that hi human interface “has greatly simplified making quick configuration changes between very different productions, making it the ideal solution for your mobile unit needs.”
