Nordisk Film Shortcut acquires Genelec equipment for post-production in Dolby Atmos

Nordisk Film Shortcut takes more than 30 years offering comprehensive post-production services, which range from small touch-ups to complete post-production supervision. We couldn't have amplifiers in a machine room for this project, so active monitors with class D technology were a definite requirement. It was also very important to get the right SPL and great throw for the LCR. And of course, we needed a supplementary subwoofer that would really integrate with the rest of the system and deliver enough bass."

With additional advice from local distributor Benum Norway, Svennevig and his team ended up opting for three S360 monitors to manage the left, center and right audio channels. Additionally, they installed four 8350 monitors for the surround channels, while for the height channels four of the models were selected 8340. Finally, a subwoofer was chosen 7382. Once the configuration, adjustment of the equalization curves and delays have been coordinated, professionals from Shortcut, Benum Norway and Tofastrud Romakustikk They were in charge of undertaking the installation of the project.
