Wattpad's webnovela 'Bad Influence' is turned into a film under the direction of Chloe Wallace

Different locations in the Valencian Community host the filming of 'Bad Influence', a film by No one is perfect, N&L Films y Wattpad Webtoon Studios directed by Chloe Wallace.

Bad influence is based on the webnovel by Wattpad of the same name and written by the Valencian author "Teensspirit", whose real name is unknown. With more than 44 million reads on the digital platform Wattpad and adapted to physical format in 2021 by Penguin Random House, No one is perfect, N&L Films and Wattpad Webtoon Studios have decided to adapt the work to feature film format under the direction and script of Chloe Wallace.

The film has begun filming in Valence, and will also be filmed on the sets of The City of Light, where the Venom 3 and The Captive by Alejandro Amenábar. This story of a bodyguard and an "impossible love", which aims to join "the best classics about young love", has a young cast "full of new faces" that will be revealed soon.

Kiko Martínez of No one is perfect defines the target audience of this production by referencing works with an important impact on generations of viewers: "Since Three Meters Above the Sky and I Want You, Spanish cinema has had the younger generation very much forgotten. The pandemic radically altered cinema attendance and if we look at the trends in one of the main markets, the United States, the audience that is going to the cinema the most are people under 25 years of age. For this reason, we believe that a commitment aimed at this audience is necessary". Juan Mayne, debut producer of N&L, reinforces the words of his colleague: "We are convinced that we will be able to attract this young audience, who enjoy this type of story so much, to the cinemas and help them discover that watching a film in a cinema is a much superior experience to seeing it anywhere else".
